THE GEORGE T. PFLEGER CENTER

The GEORGE T. PFLEGER CENTER, one of CRI-HELP's two residential treatment programs, is in the North Hollywood (91601) area of the San Fernando Valley. Its sister program is SOCORRO, located in the Lincoln Heights area of East Los Angeles, 90031. The PFLEGER CENTER is located on a four-acre campus where CRI-HELP's services began over thirty-four years ago. The recently constructed 4-story main building contains forty dorm-style rooms, each comfortably accommodating three individuals. An elevator functions to provide access to all floors. This facility was successfully designed for 24-hour supervised living for residents. It includes a large dining area that doubles as a house meeting room, recreation and entertainment rooms, classrooms, computer lab, literacy library, group therapy rooms, an exercise room and a circular meditation tower. The expansive outdoor area includes basketball/volleyball court large patio and a running track. The PFLEGER CENTER also houses a 15-bed Residential Detoxification unit overseen by a Registered Nurse and 24-hour staff supervision.
