THE GEORGE T. PFLEGER CENTER

The GEORGE T. PFLEGER CENTER, one of CRI-HELP's two residential treatment programs, is in the North Hollywood (91601) area of the San Fernando Valley. Its sister program is SOCORRO, a located in the Lincoln Heights area of East Los Angeles, 90031. The PFLEGER CENTER is located on a four-acre campus where CRI-HELP's services began over thirty-four years ago. The recently constructed 4-story main building contains forty dorm-style rooms, each comfortably accommodating three individuals. An elevator functions to provide access to all floors. This facility was successfully designed for 24-hour supervised living for residents. It includes a large dining area that doubles as a house meeting room, recreation and entertainment rooms, classrooms, computer lab, literacy library, group therapy rooms, an exercise room and a circular meditation tower. The expansive outdoor area includes basketball/volleyball court large patio and a running track. The PFLEGER CENTER also houses a 15-bed Residential Detoxification unit overseen by a Registered Nurse and 24-hour staff supervision.
