SOCORRO, long recognized for its response to the need for services in Los Angeles' Latino communities, has provided quality residential treatment services in Spanish and in English for more than fifteen years.
SOCORRO
is ocated on a full square block property in East Los Angeles, less than a mile east of L. A. County / USC Hospital. The recentlyacquired and renovated single-story main building contains thirty-eight dorm-style rooms, each comfortably accommodating three individuals. This facility was successfully designed and is licensed for 24-hour supervised living for residents. It includes individualcounseling and group therapy rooms, a large dining area that doubles as a house meeting room, recreation and entertainment rooms, a classroom, computer lab, literacy library, and an outdoor gym area. The expansive outdoor area includes basketball/volleyball courtlarge patio and a running track. In addition to providingrecreational space for residents, the large outdoor area serves as aplace for neighborhood sales or community gatherings.
