TRANSITIONAL LIVING FACILITY

Transitional Living opportunities (often called "drug-free living" or "sober living") are available to alumni and others adjacent to Cri-Help's facilities. For many, this is a vital bridge between treatment and independent community living. Affordable housing involving clean and sober individuals in the same phase of recovery share the responsibilities and privileges as residents in a comfortable home environment near the George T. Pfleger Center or Socorro. A housing supervisor assesses applicants, monitors activity, and helps maintain the facility and provides reports to the agency on resident progress. Most Transitional Living clients are concurrently involved in Outpatient Treatment, and all are required to participate in community 12-step meetings, house meetings and continue their progress toward the goal of independent living.
