NOW HIRING – RECORDS ANALYST

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Records Analyst is responsible for monitoring Chemical Dependency Worker (CDW) documentation in all client files.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors documentation in client files.
  • Identifies and documents weaknesses, immediately providing feedback to staff members. in order to make necessary corrections.
  • Reviews assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and other documentation found in client files.
  • Assists Director of Client Services (DCS) in the ongoing training of appropriate staff.
  • Engages in preparation for state, county, contract and accreditation audits.
  • Conduct mock audits to ensure compliance with state, county, contract and accreditation standards.
  • Educates and assists in the training of new and current staff members.
  • Assists the DCS in implementation of new systems.
  • Along with the DCS, assists in corrective action plans resulting from audits.
  • Participates in CARF and Quality Management Committee meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

 

  • Must be open to learning agency’s structure and processes.
  • Must be detailed and accurate.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be familiar with best practices regarding treatment interventions and counseling strategies.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the DSM-V, ASAM Dimensions, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, 12 Step Facilitation and other Evidence Based Practices.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years counseling experience.
  • Prefer a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC).
  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years of education at an accredited institute of higher learning.
  • Must have HS Diploma.
